| After printing, parts move into the furnace room for the drying and firing steps. A high capacity conveyor oven accomplishes the drying process. Most part firing occurs in a microprocessor controlled, five-zone "fast fire" belt furnace. An infinite number of firing 'recipes' can be recalled from the system's 'library of profiles' assuring repeatable firing conditions from lot to lot. Additional belt furnaces are employed for specialty firings such as nitrogen atmosphere firing for materials prone to oxidizing and low-temp firing used primarily for specific glasses. | |||
